Nice power and handleing, I still cant get over how nice an overall package this thing is for the price. Was this review helpful to you? Each ranking was based on 9 categories. Here is the summary of top rankings. Displaying 1 - 10 of 90 Mitsubishi Lancer reviews. Sporty Family Car — Great car for a daily driver.

Not so good for a major upgrade to speed because the transmission slips under pressure. Makes a great show car or to simply drive it Like you stole it, that's the way I drive my Lancer. Sweet Car Bro — Pretty nice car, nothing to fancy. If you want a car to race, or a car that's good on gas and you won't have to worry if its going to make it back and forth from work then this is the car for you.

Not much room to transport stuff Pretty Reliable — I liked how sporty it looked compared to the competition, but did not like the fuel economy compared to the competition.

If I had to buy this again for my first car, I would without hesitation. Great price, great reliability, good looking car. Fuel economy could be better for size of car. Paddle shifters make changing gears in a pinch super fast. Takes me to the wrong place all the time and is very much NOT user friendly.

Love this car, handles like a dream. Turns on a dime. Built in navigation is awful. Mine had the Rockford Fosgate sound system which was awesome. I drove it until May , until, unfortunately it was totaled in an accident. A young man turned left in front of me at an intersection in a 90's model Jeep Cherokee. The entire front end was demolished and pieces of the engine were scattered all over the road, however, my daughter and I, who was in the front seat, walked away with only bruises.

The seat belts locked so quickly that our faces never came near the airbags. There is a airbag for the driver knees as well, and I really think it saved me from getting a broken leg.

The car was great fun to drive and handled great, however I wish it did have a little more power. The stereo system was awesome and handled great, and the navigation system was good too. The only thing that I needed to have done was a new catalytic converter, which was going in and out at about k.

I've had Mitsubishi's before and the exhaust was usually the thing I had problems with frequent replacement of oxygen sensors. I got great gas mileage, and overall I would recommend this car for anyone to drive.

First New Car — Great car just wish it had more power. It would be helpful to get a turbo and all wheel drive like the evo x but buying on a budget its a smooth ride and fun to drive. Maybe eventually I will actually invest in some parts just intake, wheels, and springs.
