    Dreading k as we roll past our VIP extended warranty period. Right now she runs like new. Pulling 97k thus far no issue crossing finger. Smooth engine with synthetic oil change at every 5k km interval. My has K. It is an early number engine that many had a bearing issue. The V8 is great - no problems there. I do have a non-Volvo warranty that went beyond K. It could pay for itself with one issue with the car. Starting to think I might need front shocks.

    Anybody else get new shocks? March CB bearing fixed at 72, miles. Engine needed a new accessory belt. It occasionally will make coolant and oil disappear. Struts are fine but I had the dealership install new control arm bushings. I mentioned front shocks because I'm feeling more of the little bumps in the road.

    Thinking of having transmission fluid changed out also. Did tranny flush 10k ago, synthetic every k and oil still comes out relatively good looking. Had to rush 30 miles to the hospital a week ago for my daughter and that V8 had no problem getting up and going.

    Daddy beat the ambulance to the hospital! It's all the bells and whistles I am worried about. Have to take in to get the driver side heated seat relay replaced. I'm almost to k on my V8.
